Silicone Water-Guard?
So, I'm still hoping to get some old diapers that need a lot of repair work (including re-waterproofing)....and seeing as how my "Walmart-trip" days are numbered with this kiddo on his way I picked up an "orange-capped" waterproofer in the camping section.....
But it's called "Silicone Water-Guard"... not "Permenent Water-Guard"... they didn't have "Permenent Water-Guard"... they had some 3M INdustrial Scotchguard stuff there. Is this the right stuff?? Can I use this, say, on the outside of some Kushies Classics (flannel on the outside) or should I only use it on PUL (like the inside of BSWW?)? Eek... help me out! Thanks~ |

Re: Silicone Water-Guard?
I have the silicone waterguard aswell and it worked fine for my dipes w/cotton and hidden pul. (I had some really shabby Angelwraps and with that stuff they never leaked!)
I never tried it on Pul but only on cotton that's supposed to be waterproofed already, but I'm sure it'd work on flannel aswell...
