Re: Question for co-sleepers

I spread a blanket in teh floor and lay with Logan on it until he's asleep. Then I'm free to get up and don't have to worry about him falling off the bed./

I am not sleeping on the floor again (lol, we just got a new bed about 4 months ago, and not going back, think I'm getting too old for it!) so we did this to make sure baby didn't roll off. I had DD roll off our bed even when I was in it, so I definitely wanted a barrier of some sort.
I got ours off of Ebay.

I have one of these but it doesnt fit under our sheets

Red face Re: Question for co-sleepers

I use pillows and two side rails. I also saw some inflatable barriers I think in the One Step Ahead catalog which we might try. Good luck! With 5 kids I have had my fair share of kids rolling off the bed. It isn't fun and talk about feeling guilty!

Re: Question for co-sleepers

we used a mattress on the floor....worked great!! The boys are old enough now where they can sleep in a regular bed off the floor. Our mattress is still on the floor because the box spring couldn't fit up the stairs and we just haven't gotten around to figuring out what to do next. It doesn't bother me since we've done it for so long on the floor. Makes it easy for the boys to crawl into bed with us in the morning. They've just moved to their own beds back in February...queen bed was getting to crowded and both did fine (no tears!!) Some nights my younger son will want to sleep with me (when DH is working nights) so I let him!! We get lots of snuggles in the morning!!
