I am thinking about buying some longies from Wool Baby Knits on HC and they use Outback wool. Tell me about it from a non biased POV.

Also, if you know anything about Wool Baby Knits, tell me. What did you think of the wool, the workmomship, everything overall? I can't find any feedback for them.

I really like outback wool,I knit with it alot,it holds up well,comes in cool colorways. Sometimes it can feel a bit rough,but an overnight soak in conditioner softens them right up

I love Outback Wool, when I was first getting into wool I tried several WAHM soakers, and the first one that I was really impressed with was made of Outback Wool. It held whatever my daughters could give it. Also wore very well (could be the knitter too). I used a pair of longies through two kids and just sold them here, they still looked awesome (even with playing outside and such). Well Anyway.

I'm working with some right now and it's wonderful! Softer than targhee and seems like it will hold up well.

Wool Baby Knits is a mom/daughter knitting pair, I believe. i bought from Anna (xstitchnutcase) in WAHM Wares (so you can see her FB here) and we love the little shorties we got from her. I think they recently opened their HC store.

there is a rave for her somewhere in this forum - i can try to find it.

I like Outback wool alot. I haven't bought some in a couple of years, but I really enjoyed knitting with it. I made my first pair of longies out of Outback, they were durable, and for the price, its really a bargain, imo.

Definitely worth trying!
