Need recommendations for nipple cream
I hadn't planned on needing this quite yet, but it looks like our baby may need to be born this week, just a tad early. Long story.
Anyway, I just realized I've got almost everything, but the nipple ointment I thought I had is all dried up, so I need to get some new stuff. But the gal I ordered from 2.5 years ago is no longer in business. I was going to order from Northern Essence, but they're out of their Nipple Butter. Does anyone have a favorite, natural nipple cream they would recommend? I'd really appreciate the help! TIA!

Re: Need recommendations for nipple cream
Northern Essence has the solid lanolin, but otherwise I use earth mama angel baby nipple butter they have and loved it.

Re: Need recommendations for nipple cream
If you get really bad sore nipples, get a prescription for APNO. Otherwise I just used straight lanolin.

Re: Need recommendations for nipple cream
I used strait vitamin E... but you have to make sure if you get the liquid that it is for consumption not just external. It worked great with both of my lo's plus no need to wash off like lanolin.

Re: Need recommendations for nipple cream
I actually prefer breastmilk, it is free, has antibiotic properties, has white blood cells for healing and it is avaliable,
Oh and it won't stain.

Coconut oil. The lauric acid is great for immunity, and it's also anti-fungal with can help protect against thrush. And all natural.

I love the Nipple Cream from Motherlove. It's USDA Organic and much softer than any lanolin-based ointment.

Re: Need recommendations for nipple cream
My fav is the earth mama angel baby, hands down. Although the APNO is fantastic if you're having issues. Good luck!

Re: Need recommendations for nipple cream
Thanks so much ladies! I'm hoping I don't need anything, but it sure has been nice to have stuff on hand in the past, just in case. Any day now
