Let's post some nursing pics! CONTAINS NUDITY

Our "breastfeeding" history and relationship is not a conventional one- but she still gets momma milk , either dirrectly from me or through her feeding tube, none the less! Nursing her has been so much more challenging then I could have ever imagianed, but all the effort has been worth it...
I just made this collage over the weekend. I wanted to use it as my Avatar or sig pic but the writting would be so small that it wouldnt work- glad I can at least share it here!
I made a mistake though-
i meant to write "19.5 months and 18 lbs 27 inches" she isnt 19 lbs YET.. but, hopefully we'll get her there some day soon!

Barbarann- I pumped for my preemies too, but I didn't last very long with the first one, and the second one eventually learned to nurse, thank goodness. I know that first picture in you collage all too well though. to you for keeping it up, you're awesome!

No offense to the other BF mommas, but this has got to be the best bfing pictures I have ever seen (including my own). How touching! How awesome that you have stayed strong with the pumping to feed your dd the best! And I absolutely love that pic of your dd and her doll with the same "button". What a sweet collage!

That one of her first nursing in the little pink hat is great. Way to go momma. That's dedication

Barbarann, good for you for working so hard to give your sweet girl momma milk! Those are wonderful photos!

My younger son couldn't nurse at the breast until he was 4 months old due to low oral tone. I continued to pump for him until he was 22 months old because he couldn't tolerate any fluid but momma milk and I was working full time. Finally, I got to quit working and pumping.

It's tough at times to stay dedicated to providing breastmilk for our little ones, but so worth it!
