Are Britax Strollers worth the $$$??

Just wondering-- are the Britax strollers worth the high $$$ ? I am looking at the Britax Vigour-- its $350 -- its similar to the Bugaboo- but obviously cheaper-- i'm also looking at the new Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Deluxe stroller- its $150-- anyone have experience with either? or britax strollers in general?

thanks!!
Michelle

Re: Are Britax Strollers worth the $$$??

in general, the britax Strollers are overpriced garbage. (LOVE LOVE LOVE the carseats though) I had the preview and ditched it quickly.

the FP infant to toddler stroller has a really SMALL seat. it really only lasts to toddlerhood (not through it mind you) ditto the contours stroller that is a Bug knockoff. Some Targets had the FP clearanced out for $65 if you still really want it.

I think they're sort of clunky. I love my two Maclarens though....the Volo is honestly the best little stroller I've ever pushed! My almost 6 year old can still sit in it and be pushed easily if he's pooped out.

I own the RockStarBaby Stroller, basically the same - the FP stroller is a knock-off. Mine is a $500 stroller and also comes with the bassinet. TBH, it is big and clunky. I wear my son when we go shopping but it is a great stroller for walking around the neighborhood. The things I dislike about it is that it is not very compact, a wide wheel base, not enough of a sunshade/canopy, nowhere to realy attach a toy bar, no cup holder, and the basket is tiny. My 14mth old fits in it fine, but the shoulder straps are still waaaaay too loose on the tightest setting - this may be something they changed with the FP design. I would probably go with something else.

ETA: Oh, definitely does not fold one handed, only folds down with seat in one position, and you need too hands to adjust handle height as well.
