Teething pain...what has worked for your dc?

My poor little 9 mo is getting her front teeth. She is usually such a happy baby, and she is miserable, so I know it is really bothering her.

What has worked for your kiddos? I've tried ibuprofen and orajel and chewing on cold washcloths. She doesn't want the washcloth, and it takes a bit for the med to kick in. She'll nurse for a little bit, then pull off and scream.

I swore by Hylands teething tablets for our older kids. GripWater helped a lot too. They'd see the bottle and stop fussing. But Asterix has ONLY had teething pain when he wasn’t wearing his amber teething necklace. He has 15 teeth at 12mn old. He’s only missing one eye tooth and his 2yo molar. Even DH has to admit this thing works. Aeryn broke the first one we had and in the 4 days he was without one he was such a cranky little teether.

Hylands teething tabs worked wonders for ds, even taking away a teething fever within minutes. I've heard they work great for some kids, not for others. You can get a bottle for about $5 so it's worth a try. Hopefully they will work for you!
