What do you do with stuffed animals?

I am at a loss. Arabella has, oh 5 million 67 of them.
She loves them, but I just don't know where to put them. Any ideas? What do you do? I know I should pare them down, but it's tough.

we have a toybox dd got from my mil it's a mesh toybox with dora on the front and back, it zips up on the top. DD has a TON of stuffed animals and she loves them so it's great cause I can stuff ALOT in there. If she gets anymore (which i'm sure she will b/c dh is obsessed with claw machines) we're gonna get the animal hammock

you can gently wash the ones you don't want or need and donate them to your children's hospital. i know my kids loved getting new stuffed animals.

Re: What do you do with stuffed animals?

We keep paring them down, but they do seem to multiply on their own.
DS has stacking tote thingies, actually for a utility room or a garage, and he has his organized in those (2 of the 8 totes are for stuffed animals). DD has hers on the shelves of a pine shelf unit (deep shelves). But I do have a tote for each of them in storage with most of them. Every once in awhile we rotate them, for a couple reasons. First, they get so dusty, it is hard to keep so many clean continually (we have asthma/allergy problems here). Secondly, it is easier to clean up when there are only 20 instead 120 . Also, this way I feel better because we've "got rid of" the clutter, but I didn't get rid of any treasured memories or gifts. There are certain favorites, however, that are always out and about... and those have special homes (baskets) that they live in.
I used to collect stuffed animals when I was growing up and am very attached to them, so I understand the DC's love of them... they are just so darn difficult to keep from taking over the place! lol.

Mine too! Along with booger syringes, teething rings, or anything else with her scent on it.

Those are really neat Kristen! I went out and bought a big basket, and I let Arabella choose what went in it. I put away a few, and tossed a bunch more. Thanks for the ideas

I only keep sentimental ones, we have dust allergies in my house so they are kept at a minimals and the rest are given to the Childrens Hospital to give to the kids!
