Re: Quick help needed please!

Hi mama! I have been there so I am with ya mama! My advice would be is to co-sleep with her and nurse her or have her suckle as much as possible - your production will go up if you do this - spend a weekend in bed with her and nurse as much as possible and try not to give her formula. Also, do an elimination diet as this might be why she is fussing at the breast. Is there a LC nearby or the public health dept nurse? They were both very helpful with ds...also, I would like the pp said, babywear - HTH mama!

Oh, and for gas - get the no name Walmart brand mylicon -super cheap - non harmful to baby and it worked wonders for us! I might have an extra one I can send you as we are beyond gassiness now - LMK!

Tara

How about some gripe water...That worked for us..
Now if your having to supplement...Maybe talk to your dr. about Similac alimentum..
Once we put our son on that there was no more crying...

Re: Quick help needed please!

Like the pp said, I would definitely have her checked for reflux if she doesn't get any better. I know this sounds awful, but my dd was a complete nightmare for the first 9 weeks of her life. All she did was eat & cry & the times when she actually slept I had to be sitting up holding her and even then she didn't sleep well. We started her on Zantac at about 9 weeks and by about 4-5 days later she was a completely different baby. I hope she starts feeling better! It's hard to see them them so miserable.
