Um, yeah. My dd's name is Natalya and until we chose it randomly from a book, we had never heard it. Ever. Now it is becoming more popular and is even in the top 1000 baby names in 2005. *sigh*

I feel the same way about Elena. I had never, ever heard this name used--until I named my baby Elena. Now I hear it all of the time . I know I shouldn't feel that way, it's not like I have ownership of the name. It's just...sigh...you know...
