Do your LOs sleep with draw string soakers?
I don't know why I recently became obsessed with this. Perhaps because my dd's lastest craze is taking all the drawstrings off her soakers/longies. Or perhaps because a few days ago she got into my yarn supply and managed to wrap a few yards of it around her neck so tightly her father had to cut it off.
But I was wondering, do you let your LOs sleep with drawstring longies/shorties? I was loving wool at nighttime, but now if they have drawstrings, I wont put them on her to sleep.

No. When they were little it bothered me much less, but now that are toddlers (in every sense of the word!), I am very fearful of a strangulation accident.

I always have. If it bothers you just get the wahm to make it where they tie in the back
I do that anyways since dd use to pull the strings out and make a mess out of the string.

Re: Do your LOs sleep with draw string soakers?
It hasn't been an issue for us DS unties them but hasn't ever managed to pull it out. Try a curly purly waist band though--no drawstring needed.

No. I prefer longies / shorties with elastic waists. I have a few but they are not for sleeping. It's too dangerous. Period.

Re: Do your LOs sleep with draw string soakers?
I had to look it up, but it does look like a great one. Actually, my dd does have a soaker thats similar, I wonder if its the same pattern. it doesn't seem that purewool would do well as a curly purly though.

I double knot them tightly. I may start using a warning/disclaimer when I send out my soakers to customers.

Re: Do your LOs sleep with draw string soakers?
I don't have any wool yet, but here's what I like to do with any drawstrings. Put a seam in the middle of the back so that it can't be pulled out, but can still be gathered for a good fit. I'm getting ready to start knitting my first longies and I'll be securing the drawstring definantly! HTH
