How big was your DC at 12-13 months?

I wouldn't worry, then, mama. He sounds perfectly fine to me, and I bet he is, as long as he tries/eats a variety of foods, seems otherwise healthy.

You might try adding more good fats; olive oil, avocado, etc. Is he eating any dairy yet? Whole fat yogurt, cheeses? Protein, beans, meats?

My dd was 19lbs something. She was FF. She was still taking 8 oz bottles I think every 3-4 hrs during the day? I honestly forget.
I would say as long as he is gaining I wouldn't worry. Is he getting formula to? Or just the bf 3X a day? The dr. might say something but I really don't know. As I am not sure how much she got. I think it was 3 meals plus 2 snacks(which were just bottles and no food).
Just remember every child is different.
My nephew is 6 mos younger than my DD and tiny compared to her. He just got into 3t clothes at almost 4 years old! And his sister is 7 years old and 44 in and 44 lbs. My dd at 4 1/2 is 41 in and 39ish lbs. lol

Tirza(6lb 11oz at birth) was 19lbs. She stopped bf'ing at 9months(and was 15lbs then). She is 8 now & 50lbs.

Asha(6lb 11oz at birth) was 22lbs. She stopped bf'ing at 3months. She is 6 now & 38lbs.

Nadia(6lb 5oz at birth) was 16lbs. She was still bf'ing 7-10times a day/night. Nadia was FTT, not on the charts since she was 6 weeks & never got on them until she was 3. She is 5 now & 34/35lbs.

By 12-13 months, Madeline had dropped weight down to 17 lbs....the bad thing about that is she was 18.5 lbs at 7 months and had not grown any in height. Now at 20 months, she just hit 20-20.5 lbs and is only 29 inches tall. She has some medical issues though, so not a good one to compair to.....(also at 12-13 months she had not started eating foods yet, was still exclusivly breastfed)

ETA: At birth (6 weeks early) she was 5 lbs 8.2 oz and 17 7/8 inches long....

My DD is 11 months & weighs 17 lbs & 28 inches. Birth weight was 7lb 14oz. EBF & eats alot, she is just little. No chubby rolls here either She is also very active!
I cant even get pants to stay up on her unless she is wearing a CD! We wear lots of one piece outfits.

dd (booby baby) who was liking 1oz being 9lbs at birth weighed 21lbs at a yr old and shes 14mths now and weighs 22lbs

i think they all develop at there own rates....as long as your little one is eating and growing, i wouldnt worry. but if your concerned, you can try some pediasure

He eats EVERYTHING! lol. He loves cheese and yogurt and we give him whole-fat everything. Avacado is one of his favorites, too. He has 3 meals a day and two or three snacks and breastfeeds before each nap and before each nap. He also drinks juice and rice milk and sometimes drinkable yogurt.

He seems to be developing wonderfully, size put aside. He has been walking for three months and knows signs for everything and has about 20 words in his verbal vocabulary... he seems smart to me, just little.

You mamas are making me feel better. Thanks. Sounds like there are other little babies out there, I have just never known any and I hear of and know many babies that are well into the 20lb range on their first birthday...

Just wanted to know we weren't alone!!

dd is 14 months and weighs 19lbs is still bf 2-3x a day...dh and i are small people so the ped is not worried.

Jack was 19lbs and 29 inches.

A friend from another board has a 16 something pound baby though and he's 15 months. I think he's about to undergo testing to make sure everything is okay, but he seems perfect, just tiny.

My dd weighed 14 pounds at a year. She was only breastfed until 9 months. She is 17 months now. At her last weigh in she was 17 pounds. When she gets to 20 pounds I'm throwing a party!
