Question Help me maximize my stash: Covers, Prefolds, Swaddlebees

Hey ladies,

I need help figuring out what to keep, what to sell, and how to maximize what I keep.

I have:
  1. a 14 month old who ec's sometimes, most times not these days, but seems to hold it in and pees a lot at one time
  2. infant prefolds
  3. premium prefolds
  4. dappi & diaperrap covers with aplix (not pul) that I won here
  5. a bumkins pul cover (not sure I like the pul)
  6. Kissaluvs fitteds (only 10)
  7. Babyology wool longie
  8. swaddlebees

My problems:
  1. dd used to be dry all night but now is soaking the bed
  2. during the day, the swaddlebees wick and her clothing ends up soaked
  3. dd can undo the aplix on the covers if I don't have pants or shorts on her which I often don't around the house
  4. the aplix seems too stiff around her tummy and it folds over and rubs against her skin (and it snags my shirts when I hold her)
  5. i've been putting a prefold into the kissaluvs and that holds well but now I have to wash more dipes at a time (i can live with this if I have to)
  6. sometimes the prefold+cover sags or drops down off her waist

I need:
  1. a nighttime solution
  2. a trim daytime option
  3. good covers with snaps

HELP! What should I sell? What should I keep? What should I buy? I don't want to sell the prefolds, they've worked from birth till now. Also, please tell me exactly where to buy what I need and please avoid abbreviations!! lol.

ETA: My dd is petite. We tried FB but they leaked too.

Thanks!!

IMO the best cover with snaps is the Motherease Airflow. It has never ever leaked for me!

I like the nylon pull on covers like the Bummis whisper pant or Dappi covers, they're trim for day. The Mother ease airflow is also nice. Both options though you'll need to fasten a prefold, not just lay in and wrap.

A nice pair of wool shorties would be nice for nighttime, too.
