diaper rash from sposies * cry*

my son spent the weekend at his fathers ( who sposies) now he has a bad rash . we have only been CDing for a few weeks now and this is his first rash in cloth... I dont have any rash cream that is safe for cloth. I have a bum spray that says it's a natural no zink spray...would that stain the diaper? I can list the other ingredients if needed. but it's only a sample so it wont last long....what does everyone else use? i would prefer to get a lotion at could be multi-purposed ( for diaper rash but can be used as body lotion )
TIA

The diaper rash is probably from Kevin not changing him often enough! LOL! When Maddie's got a bad rash, I use 'sposies for about a day, and slather Boudreaux's Butt Paste all over her hiney and put some baby powder on top of the cream. That seems to clear her right up. I think there is a WAHM on here that sells safe diaper rash stuff, though. Or maybe it's Northern Essence? Help me out here, Mamas!

I kinda assumed that kevin was to blame
thats exactly what I did when I sposied, lots of rash cream with powder sprinkled on so it stuck!
I figured that since the burts bees was 97% natural that it might be safe... but I dont want to ruin his snugglebuttz!

Do you hany any old fleece or flannel receiving blankets around? You could cut them into liners to protect your dipes. I use balmex and pure cornstarch for diaper rash. This has info on which creams are safe for cloth diapers. http://pinstripesandpolkadots.com/diaperrashcreams.htm

We use this http://hyenacart.com/EarthyMomma/index.php?c=20&p=57935
my son actually begs for it when he sees it in the bathroom He had a bad rash when he was in the hospital for a week-they wouldn't let me use cloth because they had to weigh the sposies to see how much urine he had

If it's a bacterial infection Neosporin, and if it's a yeast infection Vinegar. You can also make a paste of baking soda and water and put that on. Everyone raves about burtsbees diaper rash cream but it has a lot of fragrance in it sandlewood to be exact which can cause more of a reaction sometimes. Aveno has a good zinc oxide cream, as long as you are using fleece liners the cream comes out really easily when washing. There is Boudeaux's but, paste I find stains everything and anything and doesn't come out!!! Ok so that's my personal oppinion

Friendly bump
