Re: Anyone like Guton?

Sorry! I was cooking

MIL told me its a french thing? I dunno. Anyhow.... its a meat spread kinda thing, I love it. Good protein, I put it on a toasted english muffin

3 pounds ground beef, 93% lean
2 pounds ground pork
3 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp ground cloves
1 medium onion, finely chopped (I throw in the food processor)
Put about an inch - inch and a half of water in a large stock pot. Add all ingredients, cook on medium heat for 2 - 2.5 hours stirring occasionally.

When its done cooking I usually pour off most of the extra moisture. MIL crushes saltines and mixes them in to soak up the extra moisture. It's good either way Just don't take all of the extra juices out if you pour it off.

My house smells so yummy right now!!!

Re: Anyone like Guton?

When I was pg with Corey I lived on it. I had such horrible all day sick, entire pregnancy sickness with him - this was the one thing that didn't make me sick.
