Diaper Swappers

My DD left the freezer partially open all night and some of my milk partially thawed. I have been pumping at least two bags a day to get a good supply sotroed. Should I dump it all? All that wonderful colostrum filled early milk?

I feel like I worked so damn hard for nothing and really want to string her up by her toes right now.....

I know it's been a few days since you posted...If it were my milk, I would save any that were the least defrosted. I know how you feel. I have lost milk in a similar situation. It is just devastating! You have to treat your frozen milk the same way you would frozen raw meat. Do not refreeze.

I would for sure stash it in the very, very back of the freezer from now on though! So sorry.

I hear you could refreeze as long as it was still icy/slushie. This is according to the local BF store here locally??????????

I would have to say that I would refreeze it. IMO use it first when you start to feed it back to baby. I just know that BM is better to use than formula so if it was me, I would just use it.

As long as there is SOME ice in the bags you can refreeze. If not use it over the course of a week in the fridge.
