editing and reposting previous posts

Greetings!

I've seen others use the red to cross off and label items that have sold or are reduced in price...how do I do this? Also, how do I repost the item again, once I've made my changes?

I'm also curious as to how I delete pictures from old posts so that they don't take up my available space.

Thanx!
Carla

Re: editing and reposting previous posts

First go to your post and go to "edit post" then in edit post you need to select "Go Advanced" in the bottom right corner. There you can select the text that you want to put a line in. Then select red for a color. When I do that it turns everything (including the text) red. I'm not sure if that's what you meant or you meant just a red line, I've never tried to do that, LOL.
After you edit your post click on "save" in the bottom right hand corner. That should fix it.
To take out pics, just go to "edit post" and delete the url or IMG code whichever you used.

To cross out text and make it red...

Just above where you type you'll see this image Highlight your text and click that. You can also do this with color...highlight and click this After you make your changes, just hit "submit reply" at the bottom.

To manage attachments, go into your User CP (link is in the nav bar under the logo) - its at the very bottom on the left

Re: editing and reposting previous posts

Okay...I haven't figured it all out yet I have edited my previous post, but now I'd like it to relist for today with the changes? Do I have to just begin a new post or is there some way to get it to relist again?

What do you mean relist? If it's that fitted thread you started - I looked - it shows changes now do you mean that you want it back on the first page so people can see it? If so just reply to your own post.

Re: editing and reposting previous posts

Well, I originally listed the post last night, but of course now it is three pages back...so I was wondering if there was a way I could get to to be "relisted" at the top again...

I edited what I said above, just reply to your own thread to "bump" it back up to the top of the first page. Don't make a new thread.

Last question LOL Can you check what I did and see that I did it correctly? it wouldn't let me just repost; I had to enter in some text.
