I was always told the opposite holy cow my bebegirl was SO low it was awful. I had to get ultrasounds every month and they always had to ask me to pull my pants down further to get her head measurements.

Re: Telling gender by the heartbeat

I believe the heartbeat thing isn't a measure for the sex of the baby. I believe the one and only true is when they deliver. However, my ds was always around 130 and dd was always around 150.

Re: Telling gender by the heartbeat

LOL, Shannon! So much for that! We did our own little DS study!
I couldn't tell you for the life of my what my sons was, but I think it was around 140 most of the time. This time both girls are pretty much always in the 150s. Occasionally B will drop, but only to 146 (lowest I saw) and A always stays in the 150s.
Now that nipple thing has got to be crap, too, LOL!! Do people's nipples actually GET lighter while they're pregnant? I guess they could, LOL. Mine got darker during my first pg and have had the same shade ever since, LOL!!! I had never heard that one before!

Yes, it was true for both of my pregnancies. DD always was in the 150's -160's and DS was in the 130's

Re: Telling gender by the heartbeat

I have 3 boys and all of their heart rates were different....as well as the severity of morning sickness with each pregnancy.
Stupid myths!
