Why are strangers upset that they can't see my baby when I'm wearing her?

And why do they pull back the ring sling so they can see her and stick their finger near (or on) her face?! Obviously I still have some postpartum hormones going on...

I hate it when people do that when I am wearing my ds! And they even get mad that since he is in the carrier, they can't hold him. WTF? Like I would let a stranger in the store just walk around holding my baby! I feel like I need to attach a sign to my mei tia, please don't touch the baby!

People just love babies. I know it makes me sad when I can't see a baby. I always oblige and show off my little one!

I totally understand the 'baby-love' factor, but for a stranger to have the audacity to go up to a mother whose baby is more than likely near her breasts and try to peek in the carrier? EEK!

Postpartum hormones or not... that's just disturbing.

Well if it is a 40 yo man then yeah, it's creepy. but if it a little old lady? I have a soft spot for old people...

I know you should get someone to embroider "Please dont touch the baby" or "hands off" on your carrier I dont like other ppl touching my littones either especially since my youngest is allergic to peanuts which is a contact allergy (what if they had peanut oil on them) I am very protective and do not allow ppls hands to touch the baby. I did have a sweet older man once ansk to touch huis toes I said "as long as you havent been near peanuts today" He was so sweet and said he missed touching toes that little. Little toes are quite addictive.
