From what I've hear, NO. It's so stretchy that if you want to wrap a bigger baby it will just stretch lower and lower and you constantly readjust. That's already true with DD who is only 12 lbs. HTH!

I have one and can still put my 16# DD in it and it doesnt stretch that bad. You have to get it nice and snug to begin with, if you leave it loose, then yes it will stretch out.

I liked it until my son got to be 12 pounds. It was too stretchy for us. Even when I'd get it as tight as it would go, as soon as I started to walk he'd slip down. I have used a Guatemalan wrap with him now that he's 22 pounds and it works much better.

I think a wrap w/ more support would be better. Even when my DD was a newborn I just didn't feel like I could trust it. I didn't know there was diff kinds of wraps :|
