Fit of Wiggle Worm Bottoms

Really want to like these, but the fit is driving me crazy!
Our little one is 5 months and 19lbs. I got a couple of mediums off FSOT and they don't seem to go over motherease diapers at all, they're a bit too narrow in the crotch.
I figured I'd try a couple of larges, these aren't too bad, though she could do with having cross over tabs. I can use these over the MEOS. I put a KL2 on her this morning and the darn cover isn't a very good fit.

These covers seem a bit too narrow at the back just before you go between the legs. I did try the medium with a trifold infant prefold and it fits on the tightest setting, but there is still a bit of gap on one side at the back..

Is this how they usually fit? Am I doing someting wrong? Really liked the look of these for something that won't dig into her really chunky thighs!

Re: Fit of Wiggle Worm Bottoms

I have a small, when my DD is in mediums for most other things, and the fit is fine. She usually wears hers over a DE fitted. Maybe the fit just doesn't work right now? I think that she does make them with crossover tabs, if that's what you need.

Re: Fit of Wiggle Worm Bottoms

Love my WWB!

Kyra is 3 mos and 15 lbs. with lots of leg chub She is still in smalls but is ready for mediums. We were putting them over KLOs now outgrown and now over SP sze 1s and a few other fitteds.

If I need a trimmer fit then I use my MEAFs.

Like pp suggested, maybe they just aren't a good fit right now?

Peace,

I love wiggleworms too! My 18 month 25 pound girls uses the medium long. We use a prefold and it is a perfect fit!!! I can see how using a fitted could cause fit issues. I hope they end up working for you! I just love the different fabrics!

I love them, too. I have a medium, a medium long and a large one. He's too big for the medium now, the M/L fits perfect with KL1 or 2's and the L is really too big- needs cross over tabs. I can't bring myself to sell the M because I think its so cute. I should see if it would fit with just a prefold trifolded in it.

Oh, DS is 23 lbs.

Maybe it is just her shape at the moment.
I love the feel of them and the couple with prints are super cute

Maybe I'll have to get some prefolds to go with my covers

Re: Fit of Wiggle Worm Bottoms

The NBs and Smalls fit my 4 week old, about 12 lb. baby and the XL fit my 3 y.o. 32 lb. son. We use prefolds and have no issues. We occassionally use a NB Swaddlebees fitted (when they fit the first week) and a KL0s under them with no problem.
We love our WWBs also. She does make crossover tabs.
