Good Question.
Have you tried asking or looking around thebabywearer.com?

Re: carrier charities
You could donate them pregnancy center. The ones that give people maternity clothes and baby items. They are usually tax deductible. You could also try a battered women's shelter. NINO is non-profit but I guess we aren't tax deductible yet. I just looked on the website and it said no. Those are my best ideas.

Re: carrier charities
I am on the board of a missions organization that is in the process of building a children's home in Guatemala. All donations are tax deductable. We could really use a couple of carriers to have on hand at the home, Casa de Heidi (will will be taking in abandoned babies/young children, from the area while we look for local homes to take them in and help them with suport). If you would like more information about what we are doing there, or have any quesitons, feel free to email Frontlines@mac.com I do so much work with Frontlines, that Im not involved in any other charities, so I can't help with other places you could donate.

Re: carrier charities
When I was at WIC the last time, I had Noah in a PS pouch and the person in charge of the breastfeeding support group asked me about it, she said she was looking for some cheap carriers for her to let moms borrow or atleast try on/see what all is available. She asked if I knew of a place that could donate some to the WIC office, so you could check with the local WIC office, or like PP said, a crisis center, shelter, or prenancy help center.
