Question about selling...

I have a TON of pockets and some fitteds (w/ covers) that I want to sell. I placed an ad in my local paper but I think I could probably get rid of them faster on here. They are in excellent condition and I can provide pics for anyone interested. But I'm just wondering how everyone takes care of payment & shipping? I shipped one diaper to Oregon once and it cost me $9.00 bucks out of my own pocket!

$9 bucks to ship??

most people ship first class rate if it is under 13 ounces

I just shipped 2 dipes to Hawaii for $2.50 for a trade
that was with first class rate for 8 ounces with delivery confirmation

I kind of figure I add on $1.50 to the price I want to get
so if I want to get $7 out of a dipe I would list it for $8.50ppd

Priority shipping can be a killer! It cost me over 10.00 to mail two diapers to someone during our free shipping promotion...I think i lost money on that one...it was my mistake for putting it in a priority envelope....Try mailing them in some non-labeled envelope and shipping it first class.
