Re: The Membrane Scrape

The "not eating" thing has me nerved out a bit... but I figure, what will be will be. I'm just trying to eat smaller amounts more frequently, rather than 3 (ish) meals a day. And I am ALL about ice chips... I freeze water bottles JUST enough so the outside of it is frozen... I drink hte water on the inside and smash the bottle against something for the ice chips... mmmm.....

Still no news! But, keeping up with the pains (at this point I'm HOPING they are dialation pains... let's get THAT taken care of BEFORE I got to the hospital ) but spirits are high! He's just GOT to come out eventually!

Re: The Membrane Scrape

No baby yet!! My parents went to the fair this weekend in California (I'm in Virginia)... and my father (bless his heart) made a wish that Sam would be born on the 4th of July.... so now, if this kiddo is born on the 4th, it's all Dad's fault!!

So.. now I have a new feeling going on... maybe you mamas can help. when I try to sit up in bed or even if I'm lying down and try to lift my legs (basic ab movement) my lower pelvis (like.. any area that would traditionally be covered in pubic hair.. sorry TMi! That's the best way I can describe where the hurt is) hurts... it hurts almost like a sore muscle.

Anyone? Anyone??

Re: The Membrane Scrape

Sunday night is not over yet, maybe!!!

As for the pain, that happens to me all the time (from about 28 weeks on this time, normally far later withthe other pregnancies). I thought it was normal but never thought to ask anyone.

It probably is a sore muscle! Do some kegels, that should help a little. The pelvic floor muscles get quite strained holding in all that extra weight at the end of pregnancy.
