Re: how do I get wool ready to use?
I don't think it will have time to dry today unless you live in a really hot & dry climate
Put about a dime sized amount of lanolin in a cup of water along with about 1teaspoon of baby shampoo & microwave it until it melts.
Fill your basin with tepid (lukewarm) water and then pour your lanolin soap mixture in.
Put your woolies in the water and immerse them fully. Do not aggitate.
Let set for about 15 minutes.
Let set in water another 30 minutes or so.
Gently squeeze out water.
Lay flat on a fluffy dry towel and then roll it up.
I always stand on my towel with wool inside to get as much water as possible out.
Put outside on a table or somewhere flat.
Flip after 12 hours if they aren't dry.
