Re: Disappointed w/ wool?

The skirty is ADORABLE, and I love pink and brown together. I did want to also mention that I went back to our PM's, and saw that you told me I'd need to shave the skirty

I think maybe you're right - that I might be sensitive to wool (never even thought of that). I'm going to try them on DD, and see if she likes it.

Thanks, D so much for all your help! I left you a positive feedback, but I'd leave you a super positive if there was such a thing!

That's what the skirty is (D posted the info for me while I was searching for the sale thread). It must be me. I must have some sort of wool sensitivity.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to let DD decide for herself if she likes them or not tomorrow.

If it is a Burgh Baby Gear sjirtie is should be soft--Maggie is such a sweet lady! I hope that your dd does alright in the wool. I bet the skirtie will look adorable on her. Give it a try!

You might like cashmere instead, it is not scratchy at all.

No problem, Mama. I just didn't want anyone to think that you were misleading in your product description. Besides, you did way more for me than I would've ever expected.

I know the skirty, and it'll definitely do well with a good shaving It's made from 100purewool, which is super soft, but pills the most of all of the yarns I use. I hope you enjoy your wool once you get to know it - I love using wool!

Re: Disappointed w/ wool?

Most of my interlock is really soft, or so I think...But I do have a few pairs that I would consider "Scratchy" not sure if its the difference in wool used to make them or what. My husband HATES wool and the feel of it...But he has never mentioned anything about my WCW soakers when hes holding DS.

I'm pretty sure that the Thumbelina interlock soakers are made with crepe wool?? Which definatley is not as soft as some of the other interlock. I can't stand the feel of crepe
