Re: PLEASE, Help me with trainers

If you want to go cheap, Walmart and maybe Target have training pants that have a waterproof cover over them. Or, you could stick with the gerber training pants you bought and just get some pull up covers to help control the leaking on the floor.

Alternatively you could sew some trim doublers into the gerber trainers. There are some that fit wonderfully-Baby Greens is the maker. If you have a sewing machine this is nice and easy.

Re: PLEASE, Help me with trainers, here are some CUTE ones

I have all sorts of trainers on my hyena cart. I have really cute Ditto Daddy brand trainers. I have a girlie pair of the briefs in production. I have regular old PUL ones with sherpa on the inside, I have some with pockets that you can stuff. You name it and it is there.
Thanks for looking, Jeanne

Re: PLEASE, Help me with trainers

I tried Imse Vimse trainers, they were too tight in the thigh for my chunky thigh girl. I also tried some Kushies trainers same problem.
The Imse Vimse seemed to be really well made and fit in lenght and waist, but no side opening for poop accidents. Kushies were too poofy.
I have a pile of the Gerber pants, I figure I'll use them as panties once we are down to tiny accidents lie trying to find a bathroom at the store. KWIM.
I have to say I'm now the worst mom of the month, I broke down and bought Pull Ups, size 3t-4t fit great and she's really trying. also have a pack of the Pampers easy ups, they have no stay dry liner and so she can tell when she starts to pee, but they are much smaller, 3t-4t only just fits her.
I gave up looking for cloth trainers, but I should do it again.
I'm thinking of trying the gerbers with a pull on nylon cover like Dappi nylon pants. But only in the house, if she gets busy she forgets and would flood if we were out and about.

Re: PLEASE, Help me with trainers

Just coming back to post on the JC Penny wee essentials. We're pretty much wearing these most of the time. I dont know what happened but they seem just absorbant enough now. Not a FULL pee but we havent had the pee fountain to the floor - maybe I got confused w/the gerbers (which are still horrible for us)

dd likes the we essentials ones and at $3 each *shrug* its a deal.

the nice thing is that dd loves them. she chooses them first always and we use the fact that she likes them to remind her not to pee in her pretty panties.

I wanted to try the bright bots but since the the WE are working for us I guess I'll exercise fiscal discipline and not buy the the bright bots

sigh, are my buying days over???

Re: PLEASE, Help me with trainers

I bought the JC Penny's ones and they do seem to be better than the Gerber. That is what we are using also. Thanks
