Diaper Swappers

Another great appointment! Melody (my MW) gave me some birthing videos and books to share with Alisa, in case she decides to be present at the birth (she keeps changing her mind, and last time I asked she said she didn't want to be there.) Baby's heart rate was 148, which is the lowest it's ever been. I'm measuring right on target, but Melody thinks I may be carrying a smaller baby and lots of fluid, because she couldn't feel the baby's position at all. It kind of makes sense to me, because this is the most active baby I've ever carried, yet no one else can really feel the baby move. I'm fine with carrying a smaller baby (as long as he/she is healthy, of course), because so far I've given birth to a 6 lber, a 7 lber, and an 8 lber, all in that order. I'm really trying not to continue that pattern!

Anyway, now I go every 2 weeks. The closer I get to the end, the more excited I get about my homebirth! I want to go ahead and order my homebirth kit now, but I will wait another month.

Sounds great!! I don't blame you, I wouldn't want a baby bigger than 8lbs either!! My biggest was 7lbs 1 oz and that planty big enough for me!!!

How long does it take them to ship the home birth kit? Ya might wanna order in a couple weeks, just in case!

I think they process and ship the homebirth kits immediately. I hope so! When I asked Melody today about ordering it, she said she usually waits until 34 weeks.
