Re: Are BumGenius worth it?

DS is now going on 3 months old and so far his BGs have gotten the most wear of any of his dipes. Right now they are the diapers that I can count on for no leaking/wicking and a trim fit.

That being said, I wouldn't want my whole stash made up of them. The more I use BGs, the more I appreciate having GADs or SEZ or something more... WAHM-ish... to use also. I prefer microfleece (or, even better, microchamois!) to suedecloth and I do notice that DS's bottom gets redder if he's in BGs all day.

I have 8 BGs and they have been real lifesavers for me. When he outgrew his FB smalls and I was sort of "in-between" searching for his next "perfect fit" diaper, I at least had those BGs that I knew I could get to fit him and if my nighttime dipes aren't washed, I can always stuff a BG and I know it'll do the job.
