I use Smart Balance. It has no dairy...the taste isn't as good as butter, but it'll do in a pinch

Only Smart Balance Light has no dairy, regular smart balance has dairy in it. We use the Light and have for years, it's yummy!

Flieshman's(sp) Light is dairy free.

Yes, you are right...that is the one that we have. i will say, though...I can't wait to have real butter again!! LOL

We use Earth Balance and olive oil, as well. DS can't tolerate dairy whatsoever and I am also sensitive to it. Earth Balance has been my favorite of all the dairy-free options I've tried

I LOVE dairy, but had to go off of it for the sake of my DS, who does not tolerate it well when I have it. I got the Organic Smart Balance--has fewer (and better) ingredients than the regular non-organic Smart Balance. The flavor is not bad at all. Now if I could just find as good a substitute for a big tall glass of cold milk...

The Flieshman's unsalted magarine sticks are dairy free. The light does contain traces of dairy. My ds can not tolerate ANY traces of dairy or soy and the Flieshman's unsalted is the only thing I can use with out him reacting.

But olive oil also works great in most cases.

They taste great, and the sticks work well in baking; you really can't tell a difference. I LOVE that they do not have trans-fats or genetically modified ingredients. It is a very healthy alternative!

The only one i found was the walmart brand of vegetable spread, but i was also looking for nondairy, nonsoy b/c we though my son was allergic, but it turns out he only has intolerances to it and i still can't eat a lot of it...although i may have to check out some of those other ones
