Diaper Swappers

hi mamas!

I just got two Cricketts today... I got the bigger size b/c my baby is getting close to 20 lbs. She's somewhere around 18 lbs now, not sure exactly. But these diapers look huge! Will they shrink? And what's up with all the snaps? I'm debating sending them back w/o washing them but I've read lots of good things so I don't want to be too hasty.

Any info is appreciated- thank you!

I thought they were huge too, but they shrink a lot just like all other hemp

I think hemp is supposed to shrink 10-15%? Don't quote me on that.

I would def. try one, so you could still return 1 if it is still too big.

We have the hemp fleece and hemp terry (toddler size) and both fit our girls really well (22lbs each). So I would think since the toddlers are good for 20+ lbs that the newborns would shrink a lot. I bought all mine from FSOT.

All those snaps in the front can cross over to make the waist really small if needed. They look similar to the BBH to me.

well I decided to go for it and wash them, and they did shrink up very nicely and look like they'll fit well! Also I figured out the snaps

So tomorrow, after 2 more washes, we'll give them a shot!

One more Q... eventually you can wash hemp with everything else, right? Or do you always have to wash it separate?

to think I almost sent the cricketts back. blasphemy!
I love them. They are wonderful!!!!!! So glad I kept them.

I'm glad it worked out! And yes, after hemp is prepped you can wash it with everything else.

I love them too! I have 3 and they are our "going out" diapers b/c they are so absorbant under wool!
