Snap-in soakers?

I got some fitteds in the mail today that came with snap-in soakers. Do I need to use these all the time, or just when I need some extra soaking power? The diapers are hemp (Sugar Peas) if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance...I'm new to all this!

Re: Snap-in soakers?

I always use the snap-ins or I don't get enough absorbancy. A lot of the diapers with snap-ins I've used are made that way for the purpose of quicker drying time versus the old internal soakers. You may be able to get away without using them, though, if you have a really young baby or a light peer. (pee-er? ) I have an older sugarpeas but it definitely wouldn't work for me without the doubler.

Re: Snap-in soakers?

i too always use snap in soakers, sometimes it is just enough to give you an extra hour btwn changes!! And Since I have a boy, I fold mine in half (or more times depending on the type of soaker it is) into the front to get twice as much thickness without much extra bulk. This is espcially nice in the dipes with "snake" soakers and those that snap in the front.
