I hate AIOs!

and baby isn't even born yet! I have been prewashing everything in preparation for the baby, and I have a few AIOs in my stash (I have a bit of everything). These stupid things take FOREVER to dry! I hate it! They can hang out on the line all day, still be wet, go through a dryer cycle, still be wet, it takes at least 2 days. I don't have time for that nonsense. I'm thinking I'm going to like prefolds the best, nice and simple.

AIO's are either you ahte them or love them. They do take a while to dry.

I swear by fitteds and covers myself. Although AI2s are much of the convenience of AIOs without the dryer time.

I have never found an AIO I like! Granted, I haven't tried a TON of them, but still!!

That's why I prefer AI2's over AIO's. They dry much quicker, but are still pretty convenient!

Re: I hate AIOs!

I only use AIO's
We don't like pockets because we hate stuffing. But my aio's don't take forever to dry (usually 1 1/2 cycles or 1 hour on a super hot day) and don't leak. They are built a lot differently than most aio's. The soaker is not hidden so it is built sort of like a aio2, but it is a true aio because the soaker is sewn down at one edge and the rest is left open. I like it because at night, we put a trifolded micro terry under the soaker and she is bone dry in the am. Maybe you haven't found the right aio?

Re: I hate AIOs!

I like AIO's so far. I live in S. FL and haven't had an excessively tough time getting them dry. I have magic-alls but Teresa, I would really like to try one of yours. I am getting a new foster baby tomorrow and when I know more about him, I will be in touch!

I think everyone has their favorites. We are lucky to have so many options!!

Re: I hate AIOs!

Bumkins aios are quick dry- partially attached soaker. I live is San Diego and they dry outside in half a day- a little quicker than my kissaluvs fitteds. I really like those, but they are the ONLY aios I have liked. Prefolds are wonderful. I especially like them trimmed- anyone have the how to link?
