Diapers for orphans

I have a few fitteds I never use that I could donate.

I'm interested. I was wanting to send to the orphans in the Ukrane before they stopped that drive, but the whole thing about shipping kind of put me off, because they said if the orphanage doesn't have the money to pay the fee to pick up the shipment, it will just sit at the post office and no one gets it.

if we send them directly to bekah at cotton babies they send them to the orpahange so we just pay US shipping prices.

they do ask for things that are guc or better ... i guess nobody sews like miracle diapers

The only rule is don't send anything you would not use yourself. It does not have to be new. No holes, rips or horrible stains. I can be old, faded and functional. Flats, covers etc....They also donate BG's that are sent back after repair. I bought a half doz pf's and I have a bunch of WAHM covers to send. I am going to take all my FSOT items off and send them too.

If we won't hesitate to spen $15-35 on a nice diaper, imagine people who do not even have that to spend on any diapers.

I have a couple gerber type prefolds, that I could drop off sometime not the best absorbancy, but great shape, and will do for those poor babies that dont have anything

If you contact Serena (the snap press lady) she works with orphans in China and has done diaper drives for them I'll let her explain all of the wonderful things they do over there, she's pretty private about what she shares on boards sometimes.
