washing gerber type trainers

dd is doing better & better w/pl. She prefers the JCPenny trainers which are a slightly better version than the gerber ones.

If I just have those in the wash, do I still have to do the first wash on cold, 2nd on hot w/2 rinses?

Our dd is also p'ling .I'm glad to know J.C.Penney's has some trainers,my Gerber ones tend to be very snug around her chuncky monkey legs! I just rinse my wet trainers at the sink, hang em or place em in small pail until I can wash em with regular laundry.Simple and it isn't bothering her sensitive skin.I use purex free and clear with great results.I JUST DON'T have diapers to wash (just her overnight ME SANDYS-WICH I'm washing with the towels)It's working, good luck with your p'ling adventure mama.

Re: washing gerber type trainers

just so you know, the fit of the jcpenny's is a tad different. I think they're more snug fitting than the gerbers. but the cotton is thicker - seems softer and more durable. if you think the gerbers are too snug, you may want to try them in the store or size up.

thanks for the laundry tips. never would have occured to me to rinse it out in the sink
