when someone says " im on the wagon" on here, whats it mean? i tried searching and i got a bunch of hi welcome to the wagon and im on the wagon and not a answer

The whole concept of being on the wagon cracks me up when someone speaks of it. It reminds me of when you're refferring to an alcoholic/addict.
