Can you make a nickname out of this?

So I *really* love the name Evangeline. I was wondering though...what other nicknames could be used with it besides Evie, Eva, or Angie? I'm not big on any of those really and figured with such a long name there has to be something else hiding in there!

I really love the name as a whole but wonder if it's too long maybe? I haven't been getting very good feedback on it which makes me sad.

Would "Anna" be an appropriate nickname for it maybe? What do you all think?
I'm open to anything!

Lina (pronounced Lee-na)....or I think Anna would be fine.

Eta: anything you want would really be okay Even if it doesn't totally match her name. My niece's name is Jessica and her nickname is Doo. Her sisters name is Melissa and her nickname is Melby.

i think if it were me, i would chose either Eva, or Lina (lee-na) as a nickname.
