Caleb - Nope, don't care for it. Too popular.
Carson - Really love this. It's cute, and masculine.
Emmett - Adore it! It's on our list, too.
Jacob - Nope, for the same reason as Caleb. Too popular.
Lucas - Holds bad associations for me, so cant give an unbiased opinion
Nolan * this name dh likes - I like this too!
Thomas -Eh, its ok
Tobin * dh likes Toby, this is a version of that - Tobin is more of a surname in my mind

For a girl I like:
Lily - Lovely, but again, VERY popular
Sophie -Cute cute!
Lauren - Classic and timeless
Lola * this is my 5 year olds pick! She says it's a girl and her name is Princess Lola. - I LOVE Lola! Although I hear it as a name for pets so often...I dont think I personally could ever use it.

I just remembered an old friend of mine named Lorien, Lori for short, kind of a mix of Lauren and Lily for ya!

Toby makes me think of a girls name, only because the only person I've know with the name was a girl! No offence to your dh!

If it is a girl we'll use Lola as either a first or middle name. My daughter was sure the last baby was "Princess Lola" too. She'll be very disappointed if it's a girl and we don't use the name!

Everyone seems to agree about Nolan! I really like Emmett as well. I don't think it is really popular. Dh says it is a last name though. Then again almost all the boys names in our 20 001 baby names book say they are surnames!
Sophie and Lily I like cause they sound very girly and go nicely with Hannah and Madalyn.
