How exciting that it looks like you're going to get your homebirth! I cannot wait to hear you birth story....I reeeally want a homebirth this next time around, and I'm gathering up allll the positive hb stories I can to try to convince dh!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Midwives ROCK. That hospital sounds awful!!!!!! I would run far away, and I'm glad you did. I hope you get approved for the home birth! (Oh, and OBs can drop you at 37 weeks. Mine did!!!!! With dd. He stopped practicing medicine, sold his practice, and didn't say anything until I came in and he was conducting my 37-week appointment and then mentioned that he could schedule an induction but he couldn't perform it, since he wasn't practicing medicine anymore and so had no hospital privileges. What???? My midwives are so much better.)
