My BG adventures with KoolAid!

I've been having lots of fun with dying these babies! Wish I would have known about dying them sooner, wouldn't have had to wait so long for colors! Thanks to that brave individual who decided to try it first!!

Wow I'm impressed!!! but am I the only one who is disturbed over how well Kool Aid dyes? I men I am NEVER drinking that stuff again!

Okay. How did you do it? Now I "need" to too. Do cotton diapers bleed afterwards or are they pretty color safe? I've never bought the stuff, but I'm gonna have to now.

I'm happy about my dyed ones myself too and wish there'd be more KA colors/flavors out there to dye with! LOL

to answer your ? re on 'how to' I can tell you how I did it:
Use a 6 gal pot, fill w/hot water and dissolve 3 pcks KoolAid. Stir well, add dipe. Put flame on medium and let soak for 45-60 mins.
I made sure I kept the entire dipe under, so no corners would peek out of the mix and get less dye on, kwim?
Afterwards I rinsed mine w/cool water and washed like usual. I had no bleeding experiences with either one of them. (I dyed red, orange, blue and lime green to come! )

I added a cup of vinegar too when I added the koolaid. I was telling Val (or someone?) that I was REALLY tempted to buy more BG just so I could dye them ... and they are NOT my favorite diapers at all!
