To answer the question... I don't recall on my first and second... the third, yeah. The only way I knew was I caught a slight wiff but the nurse was SO fast in taking care of it that it seemed like it didn't even phase her. I nearly cried though because I was so embarrassed. I know, they tell us to not be embarrassed, but I couldn't help it.

I hope I don't with this one, but we'll see.

Happened to me, too. DH told me about it...I wish he hadn't! I warned him ahead of time so as not to get freaked out if it happened...then of course, he had to tell me.

I was not embarrassed either....you cannot expect a 7 pound baby to come ravaging down your undercarriage and not expect a little poopy to come out....It happens to the best of us!

Yep, common! Didn't happen to me, but many mama's will never even know because it just gets cleaned right up and nobody says a word!

Yep, it happened to me with DS1. I probably would have been more embarassed if I wasn't all doped up on magnesium sulfate.

I don't know if it happened to me I'll have to ask DH when he comes home, but like all the pp have said... it happens to a lot of mamas. I for one farted when the doctor was stiching me up I almost died... but he was great about it he said it was his fault... and made me crack up! I think I was delirious (sp?) by then.

I didn't remember if I did or not with dd so the next day when my mw came to check me I just went ahead and asked! lol I can't believe that I actually asked her but I figured she already put 20 stitches into my vagina why not ask her if I pooped too! lol She said no and I said I just needed to know! lol

Didn't happen to me.....I was worried about it though. I know it happens and it's normal, but I'd still be so embarssed .

I planning a waterbirth this time so the thought of "floating goodies" is really a scary thought.

You know as scared as I was of it happening to me.....it never did. Which seems highly lucky considering I invested quite a bit of energy into fretting over it.
