My first dipes! (verrry beginner!!)

Ok, I literally JUST learned how to use a sewing machine 1 week ago. I am having too much fun practicing on these cheap/free/recycled fabrics before making some really good ones with the PUL and tonitex fleece.

Here's some pics of my first ventures into sewing diapers. Don't laugh!

This AIO I made by hand. No sewing machine, even for elastic! It has a sewn in soaker. Not sure how practical it will be, probably will take ages to dry! I made this out of scrap materials, I think it came out to 4 layers of flannel, and one layer of a windbreaker that I cut up.

This pocket diaper was is my fave as far as looks and pattern. It's got a hidden layer of the same windbreaker that I used for the above one, and the outer layer is a sweatshirt type of fabric, with a fleece inner.

And this pocket diaper I made a small/medium size adjustable using metal snaps (I can't afford to buy a snap press!) I'm waiting on my aplix to come in the mail so I just used little clips to show how it would close. This outer layer is made from a pee pad that I snagged from my mothers house. She has a whole bunch of them for use with the elderly in the bed, it is a cotton blend on the outside but has a vinyl layer on the inside to prevent leaks onto the bed (it was never used, hehe). And the inner is fleece. In the pics this one is stuffed with a prefold to hold the shape.

Any comments, critiques, and constructive criticism(for the last one) would be greatly appreciated!!
