Re: Natural deodorant that actually works, anyone?

I tried just about every natural deodorant out there too and never found one I liked that worked... UNTIL... I found Le Stick Deodorant. I love it! I buy it from MotherNature.com

I buy the Fresh Gardenia scent, but they have unscented and a few other scents too. It goes on smooth and doesn't feel sticky at all. The scent actually disappears after a few minutes. It does a good job at odor control and seems to do some wetness control too, but it is just a deodorant (not an anti-perspirant) so I do still notice underarm wetness sometimes. It's not white either, so it doesn't leave white marks.

I have heard of shaklee. They have 100% gurantee, so if you stink you can return it!! They have cream and roll on.

Since when does Revlon not test on animals?

Re: Natural deodorant that actually works, anyone?

I use the crystal stick without any problems, but I get the best result when I put it on directly out of the shower - while my underarms are still wet. Not only that, but keep applying it until your skin starts to dry - about 20 strokes I guess. Before I started doing that, I wasn't having the great results.

Something I do in the shower once a week is scrub with baking soda, and then do a rinse with diluted ACV (1 part ACV:7 parts water) to kill any bacteria - which is what causes the stink!

Another thing I'd watch out for is using lavender essential oils - apparently they can mimic estrogen... but I don't know enough about that to elaborate any further. Just something to research.

Thanks, moms for the tips. So those using baking soda, how do you administer it? Just keep the box in the cabinet and slap it on, or what? LOL! I'd like to try it.

I can't say enough good stuff about Funk Butter! It is awesome. I just can't believe how well it works.

Nature's Gate works well for me, and even DH likes it and uses it.
