Re: When can DH feel baby move

It depends a lot on your body type and whether this is your first, etc. I could feel my DD move at 16 weeks, but DH didn't feel her until 25 weeks.

I felt her around 15-16 weeks but DH didn't feel her for along time after that. She didn't like moving for him lol. It was I think like 24-25 weeks before he felt her. Now the only time he really ever gets to feel her is at night when we are in bed then she goes crazy moving all over the place lol.

Re: When can DH feel baby move

I'm 13 weeks with my third and still haven't felt movement. I felt movement with my daughters at 19 and 18 weeks respectively. I think with Sara, my husband felt her move probably closer to 22 weeks???

He felt DD when I was about 18-20 weeks, but this time, with twins, closer to 13 weeks. its not definite kicks and such, just wiggling right now.

Re: When can DH feel baby move

I felt DS move around 14-15 weeks, and DH did around 19-20 weeks, by 22 weeks there was no doubting that I had a baby in my belly, you could see my entire stomach move!

Re: When can DH feel baby move

Just wanted to mention that there is a WIDE range of what is "normal" in regards to movement. There is nothing at all wrong with having late movement, it isn't a signal something is wrong, etc, it's just a variation of normal.

this pregnancy, *I* have just barely started feeling movement at 19.5 weeks - I'm sure dh won't be able to feel anything for at least a few more weeks.....*I* can BARELY feel it right now.

However, with my first, I felt movement at like 16-17 weeks. That is REALLY nerve-wracking, because "everybody" says you feel your second sooner than your first. NOT.

For some women, not feeling movement until 20-24 weeks can be normal. but it is HARD, especially when YOU are the one who is 20 weeks and not feeling anything, and yet all these 14/15/16 week moms are chatting happily about their movement...AAAGGGHHH!!!!

It will be soon. As has been mentioned, placental placement can have a big impact of what you feel when. An anterior placenta can really push back when you feel movement.
