We've tries Aio's, pockets and regular cotton fitteds and he's still stinky! LOL

Re: Breastfeeding and Strong Urine

My DS2 also has a strong smell in the morning but I'm wondering how much is due to the summer heat and him sweating out more fluid than I realize. I've been trying to give him more water, but he's older than yours and can drink from a cup. So, I'd ditto your idea to up your own water intake and know that he's getting enough as long as you're breastfeeding on cue and having a good long letdown.

Re: Breastfeeding and Strong Urine

You know I am beginning to think that some kids just have strong urine. My DD (1yo) has such strong urine that it burns her skin. I mean she has had blisters. I have tried changing her diet, washing her dipes different (actually switched to CD because of her rashes) anything I could think of and she still has problems. When she wakes up in the morning it burns my eyes to change her dipe because of the amonia smell. Even during the day if I miss a wet dipe for too long the ammonia smell shows up. Sorry your little guy is starting out that way so soon, at least for my DD it didn't start until about 6 mo.
