My daughter Kaia Kristine has arrived!
We were home less than 24 hours after giving birth and she is doing wonderfully. My labor was not at all what I expected but I am so happy with how it went. I checked in to L&D at 2:00pm and had her at 4:19pm! They broke my water a little after 3:00 and I went from a 4cm to a 10cm in less than 40 minutes. I was waiting for my epidural when it became quite apparent that she was not waiting so I had her totally naturally and I can't believe how much better I feel than the last 2 births. She is a super mellow baby and I hope it continues. She was 7lbs 3oz and 20" and is nursing like a champ. Here are a few pics:
