How common is a evaporation line?

Okay I read the test after probably 20 - 30 because I had a bath. it is one of those dip tests. I know you should not read them that long after but I have taken many tests before and always look at them after just for fun and they always showed absoutely nothing even 30 mins later. SOOOOO What of it. How common. DId you see an evaporation very very faint line and it be neg?

I too was seeing things and checking later to see if something showed up...i told myself that the line was faint so it was an evap line...but i had a hunch i was pregnant (only 12 dpo) so i made dh take one (they were cheap dollar store ones) and when no "evap" line showed up, i was pretty convinced...and here i am 24 weeks later!! Good luck!!

was it the color it is supposed to be--just vary faint? i thought that i read evap lines are grey or colorless? anyone else heard this?

I heard that too...mine was soooo light that i had trouble distinguishing what color it was though...Seriously, i started to think my eyes needed looked at.
