Wool as a cover, thoughts? Post two of three.
Why do YOU use wool. Personally, I love wool because it fits over fitteds better, especially if you have a really varied stash. When I first tryed fitteds I tryed some very baby that I had made (they run small and trim) and a peewell, which runs big and is not trim), and a Mutt which is in between and I found that the only cover that fit over all of them comfortably for baby was my bumpy wool cover. I love the fact that it is soft againt her skin. I like the fact that I don't have to let it dry in between, because it is never damp, it does not smell. Wish I had more wool. So why do YOU use wool?

I love wool because it just looks so comfy
plus it's nice and trim over a flat or pf which I love to use. I only use AIOs, pockets, etc when it's DH's turn to diaper (rarely) and occassionally at night.

I was afraid of wool until I met someone IRL who uses it all the time and I could see how easy and comfy it was. Now I'm waiting on wool items #6 and 7 to arrive in the mail.

nak
because when dd went all night in a pul cover, then into a pocket or another pul cover, she got a heat rash looking bum. I tried wool and no rash . . .

Re: Wool as a cover, thoughts? Post two of three.
Several reasons:
It's cute. It's soft. No rashes. No stinky urine smell in the morning. Dry sheets all night long. It works as pants. It's breathable. It's customizable. It is stretchy, no red marks on the legs. It works with prefolds & fitteds. It is good for the earth. I don't have to wash it often. I get tons of comments everywhere we go. Liam seems to like it too.

I was also thinking that in the long run, it saves you money, if you had to have a diff cover for every fitted that would be expensive, my one wool covers everything I've got! (now that is ds logic)
