ummmm why are my hips pregnant....

So I am currently around 17 weeks or so, and I have gained 2 lb. (which is unsual for me, since I have usually gained at least 10-12 by now) my belly looks 6 months prego, and my hips are storing more than a chipmunk does for chirstmas.
I usually gain alot of weight everywhere, but this time I lost my butt, and my hips look like a muffin. Not my lower hips, but around the back of my waist just above where my pants go.
so it goes like this.... butt, hips, bubble!

Its like I am carrying the baby all around like a tire. Anyone else have this? and what did you have.... boy or a girl?

remind me of my first time being preg. i was carring my girl allround like "tire" its the good word to describe it

i never really show that much its all my butt thigh, waist.. wheres my belly bump.

with my 2 boys, its all belly.. i got stretch marks from boys but nada from girl?? thank my daugher for understanding how ladies feel

Sounds like my first, which was a boy My 2nd (also boy) was all belly.

i think i got this way while pg with dd, when iw as pg with ds, i didnt even look pg from behind although i gained 35#, with dd i gained 7# total and i definately got rounder around my waist and butt..lol
this time, i feel like my butt got flat and i kinda feel pear shaped, and i'm hvaing a boy again.

Mine was all belly and butt, nowhere else. It was like my butt grew to counter-weight the belly

I used to say with my first that my butt got jealous of my belly so it decided to compete I had a girl

I had this with DD! I showed really early with her, but I figured that was because she was my second. Then I got that weird buble thing. I was all basketball belly with DS

To the OP: I think we are having the same experience. My doc measured my utererus and got all wide eyed..."sure you got your Last Men. Period right?" "measuring big!" Great...I'm giving birth to Godzilla baby.
Everyone thinks I'm *atleast 1 month ahead of where I am" and I wasn't this big until I was 7 mos. preggo with my 1st. I'm only 19 wks. I feel your pain...literally!
