Those are just gorgeous!
Where did you go to learn? I have been trying a longies pattern for awhile now but I can't get all the lingo down! I am finding it hard to teach myself. Any advice on that?Mary-Margaret

Oooh, really nice job! Esp. for a first time! I don't crochet, I knit -- but would love to know how you learned so quickly and so well.

Oh you mamas are so sweet, thanks for the compliments, makes me feel better about them!!!
Well I went to Michaels and got a Learn to crochet kit. It included the book and hooks etc... I bought some $5 yarn at Michaels and just started doing it. This site really helped me with all of the videos it had. http://www.nexstitch.com/v_crochet_videos.html I tried to go from the patterns but finally gave up and did my own thing. I used the single crochet stitch and kept making rows till I got a long enough rise and then started on the legs. I hope that helps. |
